By accessing “DeafAttorneys.org” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “DeafAttorneys.org”, “http://www.deafattorneys.org/forums”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. The phpBB software only facilitates internet based discussions, the phpBB Group are not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct. User Conduct
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “DeafAttorneys.org” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “DeafAttorneys.org” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “DeafAttorneys.org” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

The moderators will not monitor or edit the contents of forum posts or intervene in member disputes except in extreme cases of harassment or offensive conduct. Individual users are liable for the content of their communications.

Forum users agree not to post copyrighted material in an unauthorized mannter. DeafAttorneys.org is not liable for the posting of copyrighted information in an unauthorized manner by any user. Users are responsible for complying with all copyright laws in the course of posting content on the forums or any other portion of the site.

Posting Guidelines

Please read through all relevant threads before posting. Oftentimes questions have already have been answered in the boards numerous times. Also, please ensure that you post all topics and posts in the proper forum or thread. Please try not to post just to say you agree with a previous post, unless you add some of your own content to the discussion.

If you find yourself in the midst of a dispute or flame-war, please try to maintain a reasonable level of civility and decorum. DeafAttorneys.org expects all attorneys and law students to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the American Bar Association Model Code of Professional Responsibiltiy when interacting with other attorney and law student users. DeafAttorneys.org may lock threads and forums when posters do not adhere to the posting guidelines.

Please edit the quoted portions of a post when using the “Quote” function on the board rather than include the entire text of a post that you are replying to.


If you’d like to refer the community to an external link, please post only the HTTP link and do not cut and paste reams of content from that link into the boards. If the link requires registration to read, please indicate that. And if the link leads to a PDF, Flash movie, video clip, or other high-bandwidth content, please indicate that also. Be aware that many members access the site from work where they may be unable to read links to blogs, social network sites, or YouTube.

Prohibited Activities

* Advertising or promoting commercial products, multi-level marketing schemes, or commercial web sites is absolutely prohibited on this site.
* Endorsement of or seeking support for outside activities or organizations — including political campaigns or organizations — is also prohibited.
* Advertising apartments, housing, and other real estate on this site is prohibited.
